Frequently Asked Questions About Birthday Balloons
What are birthday balloons called?
Birthday balloons are called mylar balloons. These are the balloons that are usually printed with Happy Birthday or other colorful phrases and images. Mylar balloons are the types of balloons most often used for birthdays, although they’re often paired with latex balloons. Mylar balloons are also called metallic balloons or foil balloons.
Which balloons are best for birthday decoration?
Mylar balloons are best for birthday decorations when used to create a decorative arch or other structure, as they’re more durable than latex balloons. If you’re using balloon bouquets for table centerpieces, a combination of mylar balloons and latex balloons may be preferred.
How much does a happy birthday wishes balloon cost?
Happy birthday wishes balloons vary in cost. For example, at Edible Arrangements®, our birthday wishes balloons are available as part of many birthday gift bundles that also include a combination of fruit arrangements, boxes of chocolate covered fruits, cuddly plush teddy bears, and gourmet baked goods. The costs for gift bundles vary depending on what’s included but generally range between $30 and $170.
How long do birthday balloons stay inflated?
Birthday balloons stay inflated for a day to several weeks, depending on the environment and type of balloon. Latex balloons start to deflate after 18 to 24 hours, while mylar balloons may last for a few weeks.
