Edible Cares™ Fund Provides Support to Store Employees


Edible Arrangements® President and CEO Tariq Farid and COO Kamran Farid recently announced the launch of our company’s Edible Cares™ Fund – a yearly contribution with the purpose of providing assistance to Edible Arrangements® store employees experiencing hardship or urgent need. The Edible Cares™ Fund will consist of resources contributed yearly, at no cost to our franchisees.

This fund was inspired, in part, by Tariq’s visit to one local Edible Arrangements® store, and the story of a store manager who needed help. And, in the past year alone, we’ve seen firsthand how disasters like Superstorm Sandy and the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma devastated thousands, affecting many within the Edible Arrangements® community.

“Caring for our employees and communities is a core value of Edible Arrangements”, Tariq said. “I look forward to getting the Edible Cares Fund fully activated so we can provide relief to as many people as possible each year, and Make Life a Little Sweeter for our team members who need it most.”
